Creating a stronger Australia together - our 2022 Impact Report

Nick Pearce, Westpac Scholar

Westpac Scholars Trust has released its 2022 Impact Report which highlights the impact of the Westpac Scholars Program and celebrates the game-changing contributions our scholars are making in Australia.

In 2022 we awarded $4.6M to 100 Westpac Scholars, and now have over 640 scholars in the W100 Network, 94 percent of whom report feeling more confident to contribute to the future prosperity of Australia as a result of the program.

Since the Trust’s inception, we have now contributed $35M to individuals with the drive and potential to help shape a better future. Together with 14 university partners across Australia, we offer five scholarship programs across four areas we believe are at the heart of the nation’s future prosperity. We’re backing everyday Aussies creating a more inclusive country, a thriving tech sector, a sustainable future and contributing to Australia’s presence in Asia.

The report also shares many stories from inspirational Westpac Scholars, whose work and research is already positively impacting the world around them.
