Westpac Scholars Trust was established following a $100 million gift in celebration of Westpac's bicentennial anniversary in 2017. As the oldest bank and first company in Australia, Westpac has more than 200 years of continuous service to the people of Australia.
The first philanthropic donation of its kind in corporate Australia, Westpac Scholars Trust aims to empower a new generation of leaders who are passionate about creating a brighter future for all Australians by setting new benchmarks in the areas of innovation & technology, sustainability, strengthening ties with Asia and social change.
Valued up to $4.5 million each year, Westpac Scholars Trust has invested more than $45 million in over 830+ Westpac Scholars since 2014.
