Two researchers have secured a combined $1.4 million in co-funding from the Westpac Scholars Trust, empowering them to pursue groundbreaking studies that aim to shape Australia's future in green energy and digital sovereignty.

Westpac Scholars Trust is investing in leading researchers shaping the future. Its early investment in Professor Ivan Kassal’s research has led to ground-breaking progress in solar energy conversion and quantum computing.

Two early-career researchers from The University of Melbourne and The University of Queensland have secured over $1.3 million  in combined funding to support critical postdoctoral research and invest in them as leaders.
