About me

I am passionate about improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and families, and envisage a world where tailored and appropriate psychosocial support is available to families of all kinds in times of need. With a background in psychology and public health, I believe in multi-disciplinary and collaborative research and practice that can more holistically address health and illness concerns. More specifically, my PhD is focussed on improving understandings on the psychological impact of pregnancy loss for families, with particular emphasis on developing bereavement care guidelines for under-researched populations in Australia, including men, LGBTQI+ parents, siblings and culturally and linguistically diverse groups.
