About me

Diving headfirst into computer programming at a young age initially presented itself as nothing more than another nerdy obsession to fulfil my need to be endlessly occupied with something interesting. That nerdy obsession has since become something I’ve found value in using to improve people’s lives. Now more than ever, I believe I must do my part to ensure that digital innovation is created with purpose, and with real human problems at the forefront. I love speaking with people who live lives different from my own, and that connection is what inspires my drive to build software that helps others. For instance, hearing from First Nations communities in the Northern Territory during a school trip in 2024 significantly contributed to my ambition to address educational inequity through digital solutions. Outside of technology, I’m a speedcuber and a tennis player, and I’m keen to travel and explore new places.
The Young Technologists Scholarship excites me as it offers an unparalleled opportunity to collaborate with and learn from some of Australia’s most ambitious and intelligent minds. As someone passionate about using technology for good, my aim is to refine and develop my perspective so that I can contribute to meaningful digital solutions for communities that need it most.
