About me

Throughout my life, I have always had a deep passion for science and technology. During primary school, I was particularly interested in astrophysics; this later developed into an interest in neuroscience and chemistry. As I’ve gotten older, I have developed a particular interest in pharmaceuticals and technologically driven therapies for neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s disease and brain tumours. This is very personal to me, as such health issues run in my family. It has become the main focus of my tertiary studies and career goals. I intend to obtain a PhD in analytical or pharmaceutical chemistry so that I may pursue my passion for treating these conditions. Outside of science and technology, I enjoy listening to and creating music, reading, and playing sports such as netball and hockey.
I am excited to meet a diverse range of individuals who share my passions through the scholarship. I hope to have the opportunity to collaborate with some of these people in my future career to help improve medicine development outcomes for neurological disorders.
