About me

I am currently studying Information, Communication and Law, with a strong interest in fintech and software engineering. While I am passionate about quantitative finance, I see my long-term career in software engineering, with aspirations to later pursue an MBA and move into leadership roles within the technology sector. I am motivated by the potential for technology to create meaningful change, particularly in addressing environmental challenges that are increasingly important in Australia. Outside of my studies, I enjoy programming and exploring global finance, often building small projects such as back-tested trading strategies, simulations, and productivity tools that help me in day-to-day life. My greatest influence has been my mother, who raised me as a single parent while working full-time and completing two master’s degrees. Her perseverance instilled in me the discipline and ambition that continue to shape my path today.
I believe technology has the power to solve some of the biggest challenges facing Australia, from environmental pressures to economic change. My goal is to build solutions that help people and communities make better decisions about the future. The Westpac Scholarship will support me in developing the skills and connections needed to make that vision a reality.
