Meet our scholars

Born to parents who were refugees from Czechoslovakia and Rhodesia, I have always held a deep pride in my mixed heritage. I am currently studying at Murdoch University, completing a double major in Information Technologies for Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Systems. My curiosity about technology began at a young age through playing on my brother’s Xbox. Over time, this curiosity grew into a deeper fascination with computers and the systems on which they are built. Today, as I learn programming languages such as Python, C, and Java, I wish to expand my knowledge into artificial intelligence and develop a deeper understanding of its positive implementation across all aspects of life. I hope to go on to complete a research degree and help lead the future of AI with innovation, sustainability, and equity. My biggest goal is to one day be able to make a positive change in the world.
