Innovation for impact

About me

I am fascinated by the intersection of science, high performance, and global impact. My study in engineering—eventually specialising in biomedical engineering—was inspired by my admiration for Australian Snowsports Paralympians. It is grounded in a deep appreciation for the creative and analytical problem‑solving at the core of STEM, alongside a commitment to translating that thinking into meaningful real‑world outcomes. Alongside this, my interest in global diplomacy and politics informs a broader perspective on innovation—how ideas scale, influence, and shape systems across international borders. As a snowsports athlete competing on the world stage, I thrive in high‑performance environments defined by precision, adaptability, and decision‑making under pressure—applied problem‑solving in its most immediate form. Across these domains, I am focused on building platforms that enable impact at scale and expand what is possible, leveraging interdisciplinary thinking to contribute to a future in which Australia is as competitive in innovation and technology as it is in sport.
Australia punches above its weight in sports, why not in STEM?
