Meet our scholars

I have always been curious about how technology helps us understand and engage with the world, something that was sparked from my love of astronomy. Spending time learning about space through my telescope since a young age has been one the most meaningful ways I’ve explored science. I am very passionate about ensuring those with additional needs are supported in an ever evolving world, particular as technology continues to shape how we live, learn and connect. Through volunteering in the Illawarra community with people who have additional needs, I have gained personal insight as to how important it is for technologies to cater to a diverse group of people. This has led me to pursue a further education that combines my interests of assistive technology and advocacy. Outside of education, I enjoy playing the piano and enjoying music, especially the likes of Metallica and Fleetwood Mac.
