About me
With a Chinese background and an Australian upbringing, I grew up navigating different cultures and perspectives, which shaped my appreciation for multicultural communities and diverse ways of thinking. Growing up in Western Australia within a culturally diverse environment helped me recognise how stories and creativity can connect people from different backgrounds. From a young age, I was drawn to digital art and creative work produced through technology. As a child, I loved watching anime and playing games, which sparked my curiosity about the digital worlds behind the screen and the creative minds that build them. This early interest encouraged me to explore both computer science and design during my ATAR studies.
Today, I study Game Design at RMIT University, where I am developing the technical and creative skills to design meaningful interactive experiences. As a young woman entering the digital and technology industry, I aspire to contribute to a field that is innovative, inclusive, and representative of the communities it serves. I am particularly interested in how games and interactive media can foster creativity, empathy, and cross‑cultural understanding, and I hope to build a career creating digital experiences that bring people together and make a positive social impact.
Through Game Design I aim to use technology and storytelling to create interactive experiences that connect people and reflect the diversity of our communities. I hope to contribute to a more inclusive and innovative digital future in Australia.
