About me

Since a very young age, I have had the amazing opportunity to explore much of Western Australia and Queensland's coast and outback, camping by rivers and learning how to catch my first fish. Now, growing older, I see the magic I once saw as a child slowly fading due to human activity and pollution. I plan to study these impacts on wildlife through using data technology to learn and find solutions for changing behaviours, migrations, breeding and hunting patterns. As a woman in STEM, I look to my idol, Jane Goodall, the woman who inspired me to study animal behaviour. One day, I hope my work, like hers, inspires young girls and women to pursue their passion in the field of STEM. Outside of environmental science and technology, I love to go camping, and to the beach.
In the future, I hope to collaborate with others to invent new solutions for the ongoing effects of climate change on animal behaviour within Australia. I want to inspire young Australians to think more sustainably and environmentally minded through my work and findings.
