About me

History tends to celebrate individuals. But from the internet to global supply chains to public education, what shapes the world are the systems we build together. I have always been drawn to understanding those systems: how people think, what drives them, and how their values shape the institutions around them. As Australia's first ASEAN Fellow of the New Colombo Plan, I have built relationships across Australia, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia. Through my studies in law and finance, I have worked across legal, consulting, policy and startup environments. But my most valuable insights come from unstructured moments, like band rehearsals at the National University of Singapore, conversations in Bahasa with taxi drivers in Jakarta, and stopping to introduce myself to a diplomatic delegation on the street in Kuala Lumpur. That breadth has convinced me that the best decisions belong to those who can hold multiple worlds at once. In a world of rapid technological innovation, I want to help shape what comes next, across borders, disciplines, and the people who will live with those decisions.
Australia's future is inseparable from Asia's. I believe the people who will define our shared future will be able to traverse borders, cultures and disciplines. The Westpac Australia-Asia Fellowship gives me the network and the platform to do just that.
