Sustainable Futures

About me

My studies sit at the intersection of economics, finance, and engineering, with a focus on energy systems, sustainable economic development, and market efficiency. I am particularly interested in how capital can be mobilised to accelerate decarbonisation and the implications of growing data intensity on market outcomes. Energy underpins everything and the way we produce and allocate it will shape the trajectory of global development. I hope to build a career in asset management, impact investment, or public policy, helping direct capital toward projects that create durable economic and social value. Outside of my studies, I enjoy introspective film, reading, gardening, music, mechanical work, product design, solving practical problems around my home, and often contemplate starting a cooperative commune in Palestine. Growing up in a heavily multicultural, working-class suburb has profoundly shaped my outlook and continues to motivate my interest in economic opportunity and community development.
Energy is the quiet force behind everything — the food that nourishes us, the warmth of our homes, the laughter and tears of those we love, and the systems that sustain our societies. The story of the future is, in many ways, the story of energy: how we choose to make it and how we choose to share it.
