I am lucky to be an immigrant to Australia where the opportunities for growth are constant and facilitated. However, being born and spending my childhood in Asia has had a lasting impression on my career aspirations and personal engagement in Australia's neighbouring region. I have always strived for a career in Asia, a journey which has led me to the bachelor of International Studies at UQ and an honours project in Indonesian studies. Australia's Indo-pacific relations have huge potential for growth which I hope to be a part of as I search for grad programs this year. I am eager to participate in all kinds of events and initiate new connections with like-minded scholars. I'm also a passionate surfer, bagpiper, and recent logic puzzle enthusiast who is always excited to tangent discussion towards modern history and geopolitics.
