About me

Spending my early years in Hong Kong gave me a desire to navigate the intersection of east and west within society and within myself. Returning to Hong Kong on exchange, I discovered my passion for competition policy after working at the local competition authority. I saw how my studies in Economics and Statistics could be applied through competition policy to ensure our markets function efficiently and equitably, fostering innovation and tackling pressing economic issues facing Australia. I aspire to contribute to the design and enforcement of competitive markets by harmonising policy work across the region. When I'm not thinking about competition policy, you can find me cooking up a storm in the kitchen, out running, or in a Bible study. My faith and church community have shaped me most, inspiring me to serve and make a positive impact on the world.
This Fellowship deepens my connection with Asia, giving me opportunities to learn from policy professionals and practices in the region. I'm excited to take these insights back home and design effective competition policy that forms the foundation of a vibrant economy.
