About me

My dad tells me that humans are unique because we use tools, but I disagree. Many animals use tools, though only for survival: to eat, to shelter, and to endure. What truly separates us is our ability to live beyond instinct. Unlike other life, we can define our own purpose, create art, and chase ideas with no evolutionary benefit except for meaning itself. I’m studying electrical engineering at UNSW, but my passion lies in aerospace, fusion, and other deep-tech fields that push the limits of what’s possible. Engineering, to me, is how I live out that belief: a way to turn imagination into reality. I hope to contribute to Australia’s technological future, especially by strengthening collaboration with Asia, whether that’s through knowledge sharing, supply chain integration, or government dialogue. I want to help build systems that expand not just our capabilities, but our sense of what humanity can become.
Many of the biggest technological and economic changes of my lifetime will happen in our region, and I want to understand them not just technically, but in a human context. The Westpac Australia-Asia Fellowship will allow me to learn from Asia and bring that perspective back to help Australia grow its technological capabilities and partnerships. It’s an investment not just in my education, but in Australia’s future.
