About me

As a first‑generation Chinese‑Australian, my experiences navigating culture, community and belonging have shaped my passion for health equity, community wellbeing and cross‑cultural collaboration. My current work spans community outreach in North and West Melbourne and deep involvement in the student community through co‑leading a student network, the Melbourne Population and Global Health Student Society and Health in Focus. These experiences have strengthened my goal of contributing to accessible, community‑centred health systems across the Asia‑Pacific. I’m passionate about building intergenerational connections, designing evidence‑based programs and strengthening partnerships between universities, communities and the health sector. Outside of study and work, I love learning languages, dancing and connecting with people from all walks of life.
Deepening Australia’s relationships across the Asia‑Pacific is important for creating more equitable and resilient health systems. I’m excited that this fellowship will allow me to learn from diverse communities, strengthen cross‑cultural knowledge and meet people from all walks of life through full immersion.
