About me

In 2024, I completed a study tour in Indonesia that solidified my passion for Australian–Asia relations and deepened my understanding of the region’s strategic and cultural significance. Growing up in Western Sydney, I am no stranger to the strength that diverse communities bring to Australia, and engaging on an international and personal scale strengthened my appreciation for cross-cultural collaboration. I am currently completing a Bachelor of Laws and Criminology at WSU and aspire to pursue a career in the Commonwealth Public Service, where I can contribute to policies that enhance Australia’s engagement with the Indo-Pacific. I am motivated by the role that social and cultural understanding plays in fostering respectful, enduring, and mutually beneficial international partnerships. Outside of my studies, I enjoy travelling, staying active through sport, seeking new challenges, and unwinding with a good book.
Living and studying in Indonesia solidified the importance of immersing myself in new cultures, language and history. I saw the connection between deep cultural understanding and successful partnerships on an international scale. With the Westpac Australia-Asia Fellowship, I hope to continue this journey and expand my knowledge across Asia to facilitate informed government policy.
