About me

I grew up in country Australia, where being part of a close-knit community instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility to contribute, listen, and lead with purpose. This upbringing continues to shape my academic and professional interests, which centre on national security policy, with a particular focus on how social enterprises can be leveraged as tools of security, diplomacy, and regional resilience. I am driven by a love of learning and a curiosity about how societies organise, cooperate, and respond to shared challenges. Looking ahead, I aspire to work at the intersection of policy, security, and social impact, helping Australia strengthen inclusive and place-based approaches to engagement in the Indo-Pacific.
I want to help Australia approach security in a way that is forward-looking, inclusive, and grounded in community. Growing up in regional Australia shaped my belief that strong communities are essential to national resilience. The Westpac Australia-Asia Fellowship will support my goal of contributing thoughtful, practical solutions to our region's future.
