Australia in Asia
About me
Growing up across Shanghai, Taiwan, and Australia, I've always lived at the intersection of cultures, and that's shaped everything about how I think, design, and lead. I've seen firsthand how connection between people, cultures, and ideas is where the most meaningful innovation happens, and that belief drives everything I do. I co-founded Circula, an EdTech platform built to centralise campus life and help students (especially those navigating new countries and cultures) find belonging, community, and opportunity. It's the project I'm most proud of, and the clearest expression of what I want to do with design. I'm currently completing my Bachelor of Design at the University of Melbourne, with exchange experience at KAIST in South Korea, and my goal is to keep building technology that brings people together across the Asia-Pacific to collaborate on problems that actually matter. Outside of this, I'm drawn to photography, dance, the startup ecosystem, and bringing people together, because the best ideas always start with community.
I've always believed that the most powerful technology isn't built in isolation, it's built at the intersection of cultures, perspectives, and lived experiences. What draws me to the tech sector is how innovation, risk, collaboration, and imagination converge to create accessible products and opportunities for everyone, regardless of background, and into solutions for the problems that matter most. The Westpac Australia-Asia Fellowship gives me the platform to deepen those connections across the Asia-Pacific and bring back ideas that can genuinely change how young Australians collaborate, belong, and thrive.
