About me

From an early age, I was struck by the scientific and societal barriers to protecting the Earth’s climate. As a young scientist, I aim to inform environmental solutions by improving our fundamental understanding of large-scale climate systems. As a physical oceanographer, I study the global circulation of carbon and heat in our oceans, with applications to sustainable technology and policy. With a background in physics and international relations, I strive to promote communication and collaboration across the science-society gap. Ultimately, I aspire to make a tangible difference in the climate diplomacy space through an interdisciplinary and human-centred approach to climate science. Beyond my work, I enjoy having a swim, curling up with a good book, and finding inspiration in the creativity of my community.
When it comes to addressing global warming, open collaboration across science, technology, and policy is critical. I have learnt that the most impactful solutions require diverse perspectives.
