About me

Growing up in Africa, my mother made sure that I understand that not everyone in the world had the many privileges that we did. She motivated me from an early age to work towards better outcomes for everyone and really ignited my passion for social justice. In my earlier years, I mostly did this by doing volunteer work. I worked on health inequalities in London and have now been with Ability Enterprises for almost 3 years and my passion for the sector only grows. Adopting WISE (Work Integrated Social Enterprise) models has the ability to make huge impact across Australia into the future, both financially and in terms of the lives of people. Outside of work, I have volunteered with the Rural Fire Brigade and wildlife rescue, love horse riding and am re-wilding an acre of garden with native species.
The Westpac Social Change Fellowship represents an incredible opportunity to accelerate my knowledge and networks in the sector, supporting my mission to spread our model, employ more people and mentor others to do the same.
